Laliové sedlo is a saddle overgrown all with grass located on the boarder between Slovak republik and Poland. The saddle is known mainly becouse it divides the Tatras mountains from the West Tatra mountains. The first successful climb had been finished in 1805 by a polish geologist Stanislaw Staszicem who went from the north side. Te first winter climb had followed in 1904. In 1937 original shepherd´s paths had been replaced with tourist signed path in 1937 but since 1980 the access to public have been prohibited.
